Background
Pennine Flooring Supplies, a well-established flooring distributor in Northern England, had minimal marketing and no digital or social media presence. However, they were keen to modernise and grow, and needed the right support to make this happen. My background in the flooring industry made us a great fit.
Our Work
I set up their social media accounts and developed a strategy designed to raise awareness, strengthen relationships, and create a sense of community. The transformation from having no online presence at all to an engaged community across their social media channels had an incredible impact on the business. My role quickly expanded into delivering a more comprehensive marketing strategy, which included email marketing and traditional marketing efforts such as print marketing and graphic design. Throughout this process I collaborated with the directors and advising on best practices and next steps.
The Results
This activity modernised Pennine Flooring Supplies significantly, providing the business with new ways to support, communicate, and engage with their customers. Over 2,000 potential customers follow the accounts and customers and potential customers regularly engaged with the content, and enquiries frequently came through direct messages. Pennine Flooring Supplies reported significant growth in sales and a much more prominent position in the market.
